Workshops

We run half or full day workshop that are built around our immersive simulation service, with broadcast media training, learning modules and more.

Services:
  1. Fully immersive cyber incident simulations

  2. Broadcast Media Training

  3. Audience modelling using AI

  4. Interactive video

Fully immersive cyber incident simulations

Our simulation platform provides:

  • A fully functional social media environment: Able to monitor, post, share and reply to post on key social platforms

  • A fully functional communications environment: Able to write, share and reply to emails and instant messages

  • A simulated basic monitoring capability: Broadcast media reports, share price, social sentiment and geographical spread

  • A simulated web environment: Able to monitor news sites, view reference sites and publish to your own web site

Broadcast media training

Just like the rest of the workshop, our broadcast media training can be delivered on site, remotely or in a hybrid manner - using either our cirtual studio or a pop-up studio that we can bring to any venue.

Our virtual media studio provides the ideal environment in which to put participants to the test in front of the cameras

It also has automated graphics that are dynamic and can adapt as the scenario evolves.

Audience modelling using AI

We have started testing the latest Open Source AI tools to model and evaluate various scenario outcomes – from supply chain impact and messaging or the contagion from a worm or computer virus, to the spread of social hysteria and misinformation.

Interactive video

We are also testing advanced interactive video tools to rapidly generate compelling video content for scenarios. They can also can include options for participants to choose and paths for them to follow.

These can also be updated dynamicly as the scenario unfolds in response to different options or indeed scenario outcomes.

Incident Response

We have world-leading experts available to help clients in all four of the critical response phases.

Services:
  1. Technical

  2. Legal

  3. Reputational

  4. Social

Step 1) Technical

Aim: Find a fix to end the problem and do forensics to find the cause and the full scope.

Problem: the internal IT team will claim that they are confident that they can fix the problem, but having failed to spot and fix the vulnerability, they're not exactly best placed to lead the response.

Solution: your best bet is to bring in an elite security response team with the experience and objectivity to fix the problem and conduct the technical forensics.

Step 2) Legal

Aim: Use the forensics to shape a legally defensible narrative.

Problem: the internal legal team and retained law firm will claim to be able to deal with the situation, but the moment it becomes too complex they will inevitably seek expert opinion.

Solution: your best bet is to seek expert opinion right away. Our team includes a KC who is the top expert in data and cyber law.

Step 3) Reputational

Aim: help your team deal with the added complexity and enhanced comms workload.

Problem: the internal PR team and retained PR firm will claim to be able to deal with the crisis response, but they're not cyber specialists and they won't understand the key differences when dealing with a cyber incident.

Solution: your best bet is to seek expert cyber comms support to provide the expertise and resources that they need.

Step 4) Social

Aim: counter misinformation and social media hysteria.

Problem: it is almost impossible to counter misinformation and hysteria during a cyber incident when your own credibility is at an all-time low.

Solution: your best bet is to find independent opinion leaders who can act as 'trusted voices' to use their authority and reach to counter misinformation and hysteria.
